I'm a UX researcher and master's student in Human Centered Design and Engineering at the University of Washington, graduating in June 2027. I'm most interested in how people perceive AI systems, and whether they can tell when those systems treat them differently.
I started in design and moved toward research, and UX researcher is the title that fits. My work is mixed-methods: interviews and usability studies to understand behavior, and quantitative checks, like a 4,500-response audit of AI language bias, to see how far a finding holds. I care most about research that changes a decision.
Outside of research, I look for good matcha in Seattle, film everyday life for YouTube, and plan my next trip.
Open to Summer 2027 internships and new grad UX research roles. Reach out at jenn.hyuna@gmail.com if you want to talk research or design.
