Overview

At Fendi Korea, I independently led the end-to-end UX redesign of the internal booking system for an upcoming high-profile VIP event. As the sole designer and researcher on this project, I owned everything from user research to design execution while collaborating with external developers for implementation.

Research & Discovery
Conducted user interviews with 10 sales assistants (both over the phone and face-to-face) to identify workflow inefficiencies and usability gaps. Through these conversations, I uncovered critical issues including incorrect information entry, duplicate bookings, and confusion caused by customers with identical names—problems that directly impacted VIP customer experience on event day.

Design & Development
Designed and prototyped interface improvements using Figma, focusing on information architecture optimization and streamlined user flows. Working directly with external developers, I translated user needs into technical requirements and implemented key features including auto-complete functionality and confirmation screens, along with additional design refinements.

Validation & Results
Validated design improvements by having several users test the prototype and monitoring whether the original issues persisted. Through error log analysis, confirmed a 35% reduction in task completion errors, significantly improving workflow adoption across teams.
